Sahgami Foundation Distributes Back-to-School Bags at Maharani Mai School

Dhanusha, Nepal- To promote the educational development of students studying in community schools, Sahagami Foundation distributed school bags on Thursday at Maharani Mai Basic School, located in Bhutahi Parterwa, Ward No. 1, Mithilabihari Municipality, Dhanusha District.

Under the leadership of the foundation’s secretary, Dr. Ajay Kumar Shah, bags were distributed to 125 students present at the school. The distribution program was attended by Ward Chairperson Ramsobhit Daha as the chief guest, and teachers from the school also assisted in the event.

According to Secretary Dr. Shah, who is also a local resident, the distribution was part of the foundation’s plan to support the educational development of children studying in community schools by providing educational materials. The event was graced by the special presence of his father, social worker Vikram Prasad Sah.

As per the foundation’s plan, educational materials will be distributed at another community school in Sabela Municipality next week, Dr. Shah further informed. The program also saw the presence of the school’s principal, Pashupati Thakur.
